I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Université de Sherbrooke, QC, Canada, and a Sr. Structural Researcher at SFTec Inc., Montreal, Canada. I am curious about the potential and challenges of using fiber-reinforced polymer (FRP) composites in civil engineering for sustainable, resilient infrastructures. My current work focuses on incorporating FRP bars to improve the seismic performance of reinforced concrete members. I test and analyze large-scale RC specimens subject to combined gravity and lateral load.
I care about advancing open and collaborative research. I enjoy spending my leisure time in nature or playing badminton and cricket.

Current Research Interest
My current research includes the study of the seismic behavior of concrete columns reinforced with glass fiber-reinforced polymer (GFRP) reinforcing bars, incorporating hybrid GFRP-steel bars to improve the seismic performance of concrete columns, and lightweight self-consolidating fiber-reinforced concrete beams reinforced with FRP bars. Further, I am involved in improving the New Generation GFRP bars with helical wrap through testing and characterization.
